1. STUDIO BUSINESS
Thank you Brett Martin who donated an electric frying pan! We are so grateful for the kind gesture. The wax is hot and running again!
It’s time to renew your membership. Today is the first day of the new membership period. We also have membership cards for everyone who signs up or renews to make the job of tracking memberships easier for our volunteers and Artists in Residence. After you complete the membership, your card will be prepared and ready for your next studio visit. We value your membership contribution.
As a charity, it is vital for our ability to continue operating and provide access to pottery for our whole community.
Clay supply issues: IMPORTANT UPDATE Most of you will be aware that there is a nationwide supply issue for many of the clays we stock. As a result, we recently announced that we can no longer supply clay to commercial potters or to non-members (except PWC attendees). In addition, we are having to bring in a few more restrictions on our clay sales.
As a teaching organisation, our priority is to ensure clay for our classes and workshops. Therefore, we are now limiting clay purchases (not including class clay), to 1 bag per member per week up to a maximum of 30kg per term (3 month period). Non-members who attend Play With Clay may purchase recycled clay only until supply is more reliable.
- Studio hours: We will be closed on Friday 2nd, Sunday 4th and Monday the April for the Easter holidays
Play with Clay will be running on Saturday with Teresa and Sarah here to help you.- Play with Clay: Saturday 10am-1pm; Tuesday 6-9pm, Wednesday 9.30am-12.30pm
- Open Studio: next week Tuesday and Wednesday 1-4pm
